The Problem
Silver lost a senior, Chartered Building Surveyor mid-way through a large residential cladding project. Due to the nature of the work, Silver required a candidate who had previous ACM cladding experience, an understanding of the Hackitt Review and MRICS status.
The Solution
4 weeks prior to Silver DCC instructing us on the role, Panoramic Associates Business Manager, Tom Selman, held a virtual networking eventing for Surveyors with the topic being fire safety. After the event, a number of the attendees discussed their career aspirations with Tom. When Panoramic Associates were instructed by Silver on the role, Tom had a shortlist of excellent candidates readymade.
Two interview stages later, Silver DCC selected Paul who was able to start within 6 weeks.
The Result
The shortlist was so strong, Silver DCC were able to hire one of the candidates in an interim capacity to help keep the project moving, allowing Paul to work his notice and join without a backlog of work.
