THE CHALLENGE
Our most recent brief was a Principal Building Control Surveyor for Capita’s contract with North Tyneside Council. The authority had struggled to recruit for the role previously through their own methods. The main issues were their location, paired with the general shortage of well qualified Building Control Surveyors with a local authority background.

THE SOLUTION
Given the authority’s failed attempts through their own advertising campaign, it was clear that we would struggle to find the successful candidate on the open market. Whilst running a comprehensive advertising campaign of our own, we also conducted a forensic search of our own network, reaching out to our clean, relevant database and LinkedIn community. These networks have been cultivated over many years by our market specialists.
Within 48 hours we had compiled a shortlist of well-matched candidates for review, highlighting Michael as the front runner. 3 interview stages later and Capita/ North Tyneside had found their candidate.

THE RESULTS
Both Capita and their end client are happy. In Michael they have a fantastic, local candidate who ticks all of the boxes and is excited to start in the new year.
