Title: Administrator – Central Services

An established education organisation is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator – Central Services to support its central functions. Working closely with central teams including HR, finance, governance, and operations, you will play a key role in supporting administrative processes and maintaining high standards across the organisation.
The role
In this position, you will support the effective delivery of central services by managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring communication flows efficiently across teams. You will coordinate meetings, support reporting processes, and contribute to the smooth running of organisational operations.
This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive, and able to manage deadlines while handling sensitive information with professionalism and care.
Key responsibilities
- You will provide day-to-day administrative support across central teams, including managing shared inboxes, handling correspondence, and coordinating diaries and meetings. You will prepare documents, reports, and presentations, and maintain accurate filing systems and databases.
- You will support data entry and reporting across systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies. You will also assist with operational processes such as recruitment administration, onboarding, compliance checks, and basic finance tasks including purchase orders and invoices.
- Additionally, you will support governance processes, including meeting coordination and minute taking, while acting as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. At all times, you will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding and organisational policies.
About you
We are looking for someone with strong administrative experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You should be confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable working with internal systems and databases.
Previous experience in education or a multi-academy trust would be beneficial but is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate transferable administrative, coordination, and communication skills from other sectors.
