Role Summary:

In response to strategic growth and evolving client needs, our Client is seeking a Senior Consultant specialising in AI, user-centric product development, and UX design. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to influence high-profile government programmes by translating complex operational requirements into practical digital solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping operational workflows, championing user experience enhancements, and supporting organisational change, all within a mission-driven environment committed to public service excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing existing operational workflows to identify efficiencies and streamline processes.
  • Facilitating requirements-gathering workshops with diverse stakeholder groups to ensure solutions meet user needs.
  • Developing user-centred design artefacts, including prototypes and wireframes, to guide application development and improve usability.
  • Creating training materials and performing business readiness activities to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.
  • Collaborating closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure operational requirements are realised effectively in digital products.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Active security clearance (SC level) is mandatory; candidates without this cannot be considered.
  • Proven experience in workflow analysis, process improvement, and operational design within public sector or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of AI applications and practical implementation within business contexts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in user experience design, including wireframing and prototyping tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to run requirements workshops and translate user needs into technical specifications.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of working across technical and non-technical teams.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with government digital transformation policies and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of app development, operational tools, or business change management strategies.
  • Experience in training delivery and organisational change support.
  • Previous involvement in public sector projects or regulated environments.
