Lead Educational Psychologist

We’re recruiting two Lead Educational Psychologists to help lead an established EP team and shape high-quality, ethical, evidence-informed commissioned work. This role sits between Senior and Principal EP level in scope and influence, with regional and national impact (and a developing international outlook).
What you’ll do
- Provide visible professional leadership and drive standards (assessment, consultation, intervention, training, reports, safeguarding, supervision, QA).
- Line manage and develop staff, building a high-performance, inclusive culture.
- Lead service development and complex projects from scoping to evaluation.
- Build partnerships with commissioners, schools, trusts and multi-agency stakeholders.
- Work with business development colleagues on tenders/proposals, ensuring work remains psychologically sound and ethically robust.
- Maintain a selective contribution to direct EP practice.
What you’ll bring
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist, plus recognised psychology degree and postgraduate/doctoral EP qualification.
- Strong post-qualification experience (0-25), including systemic work.
- Proven line management/supervision and project/service development delivery.
- Confidence working in a traded/commissioned or commercially accountable environment.
- Excellent judgement, communication and stakeholder influence.
Salary and benefits
- Starting at £66k per annum
