Job Title: HR/Compliance Administrator

A prestigious school in Berkshire is looking for a proactive HR/Compliance Administrator to join their team. 5 days a week required on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Headteacher to ensure the smooth running of all HR and compliance processes within the school.
- Process all administrative tasks related to HR, including but not limited to recruitment, contracts, payroll, and staff records management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and school policies.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops to ensure staff are informed and compliant with relevant legislation.
- Act as a point of contact for staff regarding HR-related queries, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Keep abreast of changes in legislation and best practices within the education sector, and update school policies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in HR and compliance roles, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Sound knowledge of employment law, safeguarding regulations, and GDPR.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively with staff at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
