Panoramic Associates is supporting a small SEN School in Essex in their recruitment of a substantive Headteacher.
The school supports young people with a combination of SEMH, trauma and CSE. Your role will encompass overall operational, financial and staffing responsibility across a specialist provision. You will ideally have worked in a small school or a specialist school or home before and have a good understanding of SEN. Though SEMH experience is not essential, an understanding of SEN generally is essential.
Your role as Headteacher:
- Day to day running of a small, specialist school
- To ensure compliance with company policy and Ofsted regulations
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Responsibility for budget and resources
This opportunity would be suitable for a Headteacher or Deputy, or an experienced SENCo who has been on a SLT and worked in an SEN school. Benefits include teachers pension, L3-L5 pay scale, school holidays and working with a stable, supportive team.
