  • Project Support Lead

Flexibility of locum work. Security of a permanent role.

Panoramic Associates is expanding its National SEND Service and we’re looking for HCPC-registered Educational Psychologists to join our growing team.

We’ve designed our service to give EPs the flexibility, professional autonomy and variety often associated with locum work, while providing the security, benefits, supervision and professional development of permanent employment.

Whether you’re newly qualified and looking for your first EP role, or an experienced or senior EP looking for greater flexibility and the opportunity to shape your work around your professional interests, we’d love to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

You’ll use your psychological expertise across a varied portfolio of commissioned work with Local Authorities, schools and other education and care settings.

Depending on your experience and interests, this could include:

  • Consultation and psychological advice
  • EHCP / EHCNA assessment and direct casework
  • Direct intervention and therapeutic work
  • Multi-disciplinary and collaborative working
  • Systemic and strategic work
  • School improvement and whole-school approaches
  • Training and CPD delivery
  • Research and project-based work
  • Policy development and planning

As our service continues to develop, there will also be opportunities to work across education, health, care, residential provision, youth justice and research.

We want our EPs to have genuine scope to develop their own areas of professional interest and build a varied portfolio of work.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for Educational Psychologists who:

  • Are registered, or eligible to register, with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Hold an appropriate professional qualification in Educational Psychology
  • Can provide high-quality psychological advice, consultation and assessment
  • Are confident working collaboratively with children and young people, families, schools and other professionals
  • Value evidence-informed, inclusive practice
  • Can work autonomously while contributing to a supportive national team
  • Want to develop professionally and contribute to the growth and direction of an expanding service

We welcome applications from EPs at all stages of their career, from newly qualified psychologists through to experienced and senior practitioners.

Professional support & progression

You’ll be joining an established and supportive professional structure.

Our team currently includes two Lead Educational Psychologists, who provide management support, professional guidance and contribute to CPD and the ongoing development of our EP team.

As our National SEND Service continues to expand, we expect our leadership structure to grow with it. This will create further opportunities for experienced EPs who are interested in progressing into Lead EP, management, supervision and wider service-development roles.

For those who want to progress without moving away from psychological practice, we also want to support EPs in developing their own areas of specialism and taking a leading role in areas that interest them.

What we offer

  • Salary up to £66,000 depending on role and experience
  • Quarterly delivery bonus opportunities
  • Highly flexible working across the UK
  • 4 or 5-day working patterns
  • Competitive pension scheme, aligned with typical Local Authority packages
  • Excellent line management, professional supervision and support
  • Support from two experienced Lead Educational Psychologists
  • Fully funded CPD and training opportunities
  • National peer network and developing regional hubs
  • Clear opportunities for progression as the service grows
  • Opportunities to develop your own areas of professional specialism
  • 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays
  • Medicash health cash plan
  • CycleScheme & TechScheme
  • Travel expenses covered

Why Panoramic?

We want to do things differently.

Our aim is to create an environment where Educational Psychologists can practise with intellectual freedom, professional autonomy and genuine variety, while retaining the stability and support of permanent employment.

You’ll join a growing national team of EPs, supported by two Lead Educational Psychologists and Dr Ben Powell, Director of SEND Services, an experienced former Principal Educational Psychologist and Head of Service.

We’re building the service for the long term, and as the team grows, we want our EPs to grow with it. That means creating opportunities for progression, leadership, supervision, service development and specialism alongside high-quality psychological practice.

Most importantly, we want our EPs to have the space to develop professionally, pursue their areas of interest and make a meaningful impact at individual, group and systemic levels.

Interested?

Apply now or contact us for a confidential and informal conversation. You don’t need to be actively looking for a new role – we’re equally happy to have an initial conversation about what you’re looking for from your EP career.
