Panoramic Associates have partnered up with a Local Authority to assist them with the recruitment of an Interim Children’s Commissioning Manager. This is a full time interim position,and an ideal opportunity for a Commissioning Manager who wishes to leave a lasting impact within a very diverse and a progressive local authority.
Key duties are:
- Working as part of an all ages People Commissioning service, assist the overall team with operational management.
- To lead on the development of services across specific service user groups, assisting in the development and implementation of relevant strategic commissioning strategies.
- Working closely with budget holders and service leads and other key stakeholders to manage programmes of commissioning activity
- To undertake needs assessments, develop service specifications, produce business cases and to implement commissioning activity on time and within budget.
An Ideal candidate for this position will consist of the following traits:
- Experienced Commissioning Officer
- Excellent managerial experience
- Experience in drafting strategies specifications and analysing the need of different cases
- A thorough understanding of Children’s Services
