Panoramic Associates are working with a development and construction consultancy in Central London in the search for a Senior Building Surveyor to spearhead their cladding remediation projects, conduct thorough intrusive cladding inspections, and perform comprehensive condition surveys. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will also be responsible for integrating decarbonisation and energy reduction strategies into their projects, ensuring sustainability and efficiency are at the forefront of their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage cladding remediation schemes, overseeing every stage of the process to ensure timely and effective completion.
- Intrusive Cladding Inspections: Conduct detailed inspections to identify underlying issues and develop targeted solutions.
- Condition Surveys: Perform comprehensive surveys to assess the condition of buildings, integrating decarbonisation and energy reduction elements where applicable.
- Feasibility Reports: Generate detailed feasibility reports on block refurbishment and structural stabilisation of LPS buildings, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in building surveying, with a focus on cladding remediation and project management.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cladding systems, building regulations, and structural stability.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
