Location: West Midlands
Pay rate: £45 per hour inside IR35
Duration: 3 months initial contract with a strong possibility of extension up to 1 year.
Type: Hybrid – attendance for court, casework done remotely.
Panoramic Associates are excited to be working with one of our established local government clients based in the West Midlands who are looking for a Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team. This opportunity would be ideal for an individual either newly qualified or with a couple of years’ experience practising in adult social care or mental health law in either local government or private practice.
The role is for an initial 3 months, however has a strong likelihood of being extended potentially up to 1 year in duration. This post is also offered on a full-time basis with flexible working available, mostly remote however attendance for internal meetings and hearings at court would be required on occasion.
Essential criteria:
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, alternatively, non-qualified Lawyers with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience working with a local authority or practising in adult social care
- Good practical knowledge of adult social care law including mental health and court of protection law.
- Experience undertaking advocacy would be desirable
