Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client to facilitate the appointment of an experienced Capital Project Manager to oversee various education/school refurbishment, maintenance and new build projects. Projects are at different RIBA stages.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Manage the full life cycle of projects from feasibility to delivery.
- Communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met on time.
- Manage complex capital projects through each RIBA stage.
- Assist in the procurement of contractors.
- Clearly report back project milestones to the board.
To be considered you will have:
- Experience working in a Local Authority setting.
- Experience project managing capital projects, specifically school or educational projects.
- Full membership of one or more of the following Memberships or equivalent: APM, ARB, CIOB,RIBA,RICS or Prince 2
Next Steps:
This role is an initial 6-month contract with likely extension. You will be required to be in the office 2 days per week, with the remainder remote.
