Senior Electrical Project Engineer
Panoramic Associates is currently working with a leading international infrastructure group specializing in construction, support services, and infrastructure investments in recruiting a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, where you’ll assist the Senior Project Manager/Project Director in planning and executing M&E Building Services Design and Installation. You’ll manage submittal approvals, material deliveries, schedules, and budgets, ensuring smooth on-site M&E installation.
Senior Project Engineer – Electrical
Type: Full-time Permanent
Salary: £65K – £70K
Location: Reading
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the senior project team in implementing the engineering strategy and framework.
- Engage with Subcontractors from ITT to Final commissioning and Handover.
- Ensure Subcontract packages meet programme, budget, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with the M&E control sheet.
- Ensure communication trackers are updated and RIBA 4/5 design deliverables are reviewed and fit for purpose.
Required Skills:
- Full project lifecycle experience as a Project Engineer within Electrical packages.
- Proficient in engaging and managing sub-contractors from ITT to Handover.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Experience in MS Excel, Asta Power Project, MS Project or similar.
- DfMA design, manufacture, and installation experience is advantageous.
