Job Title: Interim Senior Practitioner (Early Years)
Location: London
Duration: Immediate start until Easter (potentially longer)
Pay: Competitive day rate
3 days per week. Full time if teaching involved.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Interim Senior Practitioner to join a dynamic team in an SEN early years setting and support the Nursery Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the early years setting.
- Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to staff members.
- Ensure the implementation of a high-quality early years curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure effective communication and partnership.
- Oversee assessment and planning processes to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Delivery of EYFS, taking into account of childrens special needs.
- Mentoring, training, advising and supporting in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within an early years setting.
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of early childhood development and education practices.
- Immediate availability.
- SEN experience highly desirable.
