Interim SENCO
Panoramic Associates is working with a Secondary school in the North West of England, who are looking to recruit for an interim SENCo, starting ASAP. They require the interim SENCo to stay in post until next Easter, with a possible extension or moving permanent.
As SENCo you will manage the SEN department across a large secondary school. A NASENCo qualification is essential as you will be the sole SENCo, though you’ll have support including an SEN administrator and assistant SENCo. The successful candidate will have experience working in a Secondary setting and a strong understanding of EHCP processes and local authority liaison. You must be confident managing SEN provision, access arrangements and parental engagement. There is preferably a small teaching element, around 6 hours per week.
