We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Interim Operations Manager to provide operational and hands on leadership across a portfolio of services supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. This role is critical in ensuring continuity, stability, and excellence in service delivery during a period of organisational transition.
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record in multi‑site management within specialist care settings, combined with the ability to lead teams, drive quality, and maintain full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Provide operational oversight and leadership across multiple services

Ensure full compliance with CQC requirements and internal governance frameworks

Monitor service performance, quality indicators, and safeguarding practices

Lead and support initiatives, embedding best practice across all sites

Build and maintain effective relationships with commissioners, families, and external stakeholders

Uphold a person‑centred approach that promotes independence, dignity, and positive outcomes
Candidate Profile

Significant experience in operational leadership within learning disability or specialist care environments

Strong understanding of CQC regulations, quality standards, and safeguarding frameworks

Proven ability to lead teams through change with clarity, professionalism, and resilience

Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills

Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and deliver results at pace
