Interim Head of School

We’re excited to be working with one of our clients supporting them to appoint an Interim Head of School for a primary school.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced primary leader to provide strong leadership during a period of transition, working closely with the Executive Headteacher and wider Trust team. The role combines strategic leadership with a small teaching commitment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the school
- Drive high standards in teaching, learning and pupil outcomes
- Support school improvement and transition within the MAT
- Lead staff performance, behaviour and safeguarding
- Work collaboratively with Trust leaders, staff and the wider community
About you:
- QTS qualified
- Experienced Headteacher, Head of School, Deputy Head
- Strong primary school leadership background
- Experience supporting school improvement and/or MAT environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Contract Details:
- Start: September 2026
- End: December 2026 (with potential to extend or become permanent)
- Location: Northamptonshire
