Role Overview
Due to ongoing initiatives and a commitment to enhancing safety protocols, Our Client is seeking a skilled Interim Building Safety Manager. This pivotal role is designed to support their expanding safety team, ensuring compliance and maintaining rigorous safety standards across critical projects. The position offers an exciting chance to contribute to important safety cases and operational inspections.
- Lead efforts to maintain and enhance building safety, particularly in high-risk residential properties, ensuring all safety information, inspections, and records are accurate and readily available.
- Manage the Golden Thread of safety data, develop comprehensive Safety Case Reports, and foster a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
- Supervise inspections, coordinate with contractors, and oversee remedial works to address safety concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Engage with residents through respectful and clear communication, helping them understand safety procedures and building requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in building safety management or inspecting, with practical knowledge of building operations
- Strong understanding of building functionality, compliance, and safety regulations
- Ability to interpret and manage safety documentation and cases effectively
- Relevant qualifications, such as CIOB Level 6 in Building Safety
- Hardworking attitude with a focus on quality and compliance
