Interim Assistant Headteacher - SEN School
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Headteacher to support an SEMH school in the Southampton area. This will start immediately until the end of the academic year, potentially for longer.
You will be adding capacity to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring everything is kept up to date and assisting with the curriculum, teaching and learning, safeguarding and other responsibilities as required. There will also be a large amount of teaching involved (this can be within any subject).
Requirements:
– Experience working as part of a senior leadership team
– Proven experience as an Assistant Headship or in a similar leadership role
– Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
– Extensive Ofsted experience
– SEMH/ ASD background
