Title: Fire Safety Project Manager
Location: Buckinghamshire
Duration: 3 – 6 Months
Day Rate: £350.00 inside IR35
Panoramic Associates, in collaboration with a dynamic Local Authority in Buckinghamshire, is actively seeking a dedicated Fire Manager to champion safety and compliance across 6 critical housing areas. This role involves ensuring buildings adhere to the latest legislation, contributing to a safer community.
Role Highlights:
- Serve as the Council’s main point of contact for housing and building safety, offering technical advice and expertise.
Coordinate and manage structural and fire safety matters in in-scope buildings to meet legislative requirements. - Manage resident engagement within high-rise and/or higher-risk buildings, addressing safety concerns appropriately.
- Deliver regulatory requirements of the Building Safety and Fire Safety Acts, providing an effective building safety service.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for work specifications and tenders and provide accurate and timely information for management reports.
- Supervise contractors in accordance with their contractual terms, making recommendations for improvements and implementing actions as appropriate to ensure contract specifications continue to be met.
- Ensure investment works are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements and make appropriate recommendations on changes that may need to be made mid-project to ensure full compliance and consistent delivery of services.
- Oversee the recruitment, performance, and development of quality employees to ensure that skilled people are available to meet business needs and individual accountabilities.
- Manage the coordination, communication, and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately.
