Are you an experienced Estate Surveyor looking for a rewarding opportunity to contribute to your local community? We have an exciting role available with a respected local authority in Hampshire.
As an Estate Surveyor within our local authority, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our property portfolio across Hampshire. You will be responsible for conducting property inspections, managing leases, negotiating acquisitions and disposals, and providing expert advice on property-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property inspections and surveys to assess condition and value, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage property portfolios and leases, maintaining accurate records and addressing tenant concerns promptly.
- Negotiate and manage property acquisitions and disposals, working closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide expert advice on property-related matters to colleagues, councillors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues in various departments to support the delivery of strategic objectives and community initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estate Surveyor or similar role within the public sector or local government.
- In-depth knowledge of property legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
