Panoramic Associates is excited to be partnering with Alderman Knight School, a forward-thinking and inclusive special school located in the heart of Gloucestershire, to recruit a dedicated and passionate Design & Technology Teacher. The Role
The school is seeking a full-time Design & Technology Teacher to join their Creative Arts department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a creative and engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will inspire pupils to achieve their potential and foster a genuine love for the subject.
At KS4 and KS5, the school offers:
- AQA GCSE Three-Dimensional Studies
- GCSE Design & Technology
You will be based in a well-equipped, specialist teaching room and supported by the Creative Arts Team Leader. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the curriculum and work alongside a highly skilled and enthusiastic team.

We are seeking a teacher who is:
- Passionate about Design & Technology and has the ability to create an engaging curriculum
- Committed to delivering lessons that inspire and motivate students, ensuring every pupil reaches their potential
- A differentiated practitioner, able to adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils
- Collaborative, working closely with colleagues to support pupil development across all key stages
- Experienced or an ECT (Early Career Teacher) – both are encouraged to apply
You do not need prior experience in special education, as long as you are passionate about teaching and committed to providing tailored learning experiences for all pupils.
