Delivery Manager – Sustainable Transport
12-month Contract – Outside IR35

Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite/in office (remainder from home)

This postholder will support the delivery of the bus priority programme, which is currently in the pre-construction phase. They will oversee and manage technical construction and design activities within the major multi-modal road investment programme to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with contractors on the front line in mobilising complex highway programmes to site, as well as management of construction activities.
- Experience of working in the public sector, on the client side and be very familiar with working with complex stakeholder/partner environments and competent in maintaining strong governance.
- Adept at writing and briefing technical reports.
- Contract management and contractor engagement, within a NEC environment.
- Civil Engineering background.
- Accredited with a relevant professional body.
