Role Overview: As a Contract Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the capital programme for the City Council Housing Assets. With a portfolio of approximately 60,000 social housing units, this role offers a unique opportunity to impact the maintenance, investment, and safety of these properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the capital programme, collaborating with internal stakeholders, contractors, and tenants.
- Oversee projects from inception to handover, ensuring successful delivery within established timelines.
- Engage with internal customers, governance, tenants, leaseholders, and manage contracts effectively.
- Demonstrate knowledge of building regulations, safety standards, and relevant codes of practice.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for correspondence and report preparation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in project managing contractors and executing capital programmes.
- Familiarity with building regulations, safety issues, and codes of practice.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
