Panoramic Associates are working with a council in Suffolk in the search for a Civil Engineering Surveyor who will lead civil engineering projects for the clients housing and corporate assets, ensuring adherence to budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify civil engineering investment needs and plan projects accordingly.
- Manage project lifecycle following RIBA Plan of Work Framework.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure value for money.
- Collaborate with internal teams and consultants for project delivery.
- Contribute to corporate and asset strategies.
- Prepare quarterly reports on project progress and budget.
- Procure contracts adhering to organizational policies.
- Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.
- Address complaints and inquiries in accordance with policies.
- Support IT systems development and implementation.
- Keep informed of organizational changes and industry developments.
- Assist in staff training and attend Health & Safety meetings as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in civil engineering project management.
- Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work Framework.
- Strong budget management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
