Panoramic Associates are currently working with a client in Wiltshire that are looking for a Capital Building Surveyor on a permanent basis for a salary of £44,000 and a generous benefits package.
The post holder will be part of a team that delivers capital and planned maintenance projects to the client’s corporate and listed buildings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for involving the clients customers, tenants, and leaseholders, as well as managing the preparation and brief, develop design and technical design, and administering the construction contract through to hand over and close out.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver capital and maintenance investment projects ensuring compliance with regulations and obtaining necessary permissions.
- Conduct various building surveys and inspections, preparing detailed reports.
- Manage expenditures within budget constraints and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and meet key performance indicators.
- Participate in training, promote equality and diversity, and adhere to health and safety protocols, including attending meetings and providing evidence when required.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive experience in delivering capital and maintenance projects.
- Proficiency in E-procurement processes and budget management.
- In-depth understanding of construction health and safety regulations, including CDM duties.
- Competence in using auto-cad for design drawings and familiarity with relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated commitment to partnership working, service user engagement, and continuous development.
Qualifications
- HNC in Building Studies.
- Accredited qualification of Auto-cad or equivalent drawing packages.
- Current driving licence.
- Accredited Qualification in Health and Safety.
