Class 2 Building Control Surveyor – Local Authority (Contract)

Hourly Rate:
Class 2D: £75/hour
Class 2F: £85/hour
Contract Length: 6 months

Panoramic Associates is working with a Local Authority to appoint an experienced Class 2 Registered Building Control Surveyor. You’ll play a key role in safeguarding community safety, delivering expert inspections, and ensuring compliance across various projects.
Role Highlights:

Carry out unsupervised inspections for compliance with Building Regulations.

Advise contractors and developers on technical compliance.

Manage records and site data in line with statutory requirements.

Support with high-risk or complex applications, depending on class.
Requirements:

Current Class 2 registration (2D or 2F).

Strong understanding of Building Regulations and local authority procedures.

Proven experience conducting inspections on domestic and/or commercial projects.

Confident decision-making and stakeholder engagement skills.
