Role Summary:
Our Client is seeking a talented BIM Manager / Coordinator to join their dynamic Digital Engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the implementation and delivery of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across a range of projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of digital workflows, ultimately enhancing design quality and project efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and implementation of BIM processes across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Develop, manage, and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans in compliance with industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to design teams in the use of digital tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of coordinated models and data.
- Monitor model quality, clash detection, and data integrity throughout project lifecycles.
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and adopt emerging technologies in digital engineering.
- Deliver training and mentoring to enhance team members’ BIM capabilities.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to meet BIM deliverables and contractual requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a BIM Coordinator or Manager role within the AEC industry.
- Proficiency in tools such as Solibri and ACC, with knowledge of Revit and Civil 3D.
- Solid understanding of ISO 19650 standards and associated documentation.
- Experience managing federated models, clash detection processes, and data validation.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs) and structured data management.
- Knowledge of software interoperability and openBIM principles.
- Experience in mentoring or training others in BIM processes.
- Qualifications in architectural technology, engineering, or digital construction, with BIM certifications advantageous.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Additional certifications or training in BIM.
- Experience with emerging technologies in digital construction.
- Knowledge of advanced BIM applications for project optimization.
