Kirsten Watters brings a wealth of experience in public health, having trained in London and served as a consultant in Suffolk for several years. During the pandemic, Kirsten embraced the challenge and stepped into the role of Director of Public Health at Camden Council. She has been leading from the forefront in this central London borough known for its vibrant, diverse, and dynamic population.
A Preview into Her Role
As the Director of Public Health in Camden, Kirsten oversees a unique and complex landscape. Camden boasts a highly mobile population, a mix of economic backgrounds, and significant health inequalities. Watters emphasises the importance of innovation and a rebellious spirit in Camden’s public health approach.
