ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an innovative and visionary registered Consultant in Public Health ( (Maternal, Children, Young People and Families Health & Wellbeing) who will work collaboratively with colleagues across our organisation and the wider system to achieve our ambitions.
We are looking for a candidate who in addition to proficient technical capability is a proven system leader, committed to tackling health inequalities and to leading a successful programme of public health responsibility within Local Government and the NHS.
The post-holder will deal with complex public health and wellbeing challenges in a multi-organisational environment with widely differing governance and finance system and organisational cultures. It is expected that the post-holder will be able to cope with such circumstances as well as multiple and changing demands, and to meet tight deadlines.
