SEND Inclusion & Funding Specialist
Outside IR35 – 6-12 month contract – MAT
Panoramic Associates is partnered with a multi-academy Trust to appoint an experienced SEND Inclusion & Funding Specialist to provide operational support across its London/ the South East based schools. The role will focus on reducing the demands placed on schools around EHCP consultations, SEND provision and funding, working closely with Headteachers and SENCOs to secure appropriate support and challenge Local Authorities where funding does not reflect need.
Key Responsibilities
- Support schools with EHCP consultations and SEND-related processes.
- Challenge and negotiate with Local Authorities around all aspects of SEND funding, including EHCP/top-up, high-needs and early years funding.
- Monitor SEND expenditure and support schools with effective use of funding.
- Provide expert operational advice to Headteachers and SENCOs.
- Identify and resolve SEND provision and funding issues across the Trust.
About You
We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including primary, EYFS, specialist and SEN settings, as well as school or Trust-level leadership.
You will have:
- Strong, demonstrable SEND expertise.
- Experience working with EHCPs, SEND provision and LA funding.
- The confidence to challenge Local Authorities and advocate effectively for schools.
- A SENCO qualification (essential).
Previous multi-school/Trust experience is desirable but not essential.
The trust are open to considering anywhere from 3-5 days per week for the right candidate, but preferably five.
