Strategic Asset Manager – £450 per day (Inside IR35) – Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 remote)
Panoramic Associates are supporting a London-based council to recruit an experienced Strategic Asset Manager for an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension to 6 months or beyond.

Contract: 3 months initially, likely to extend

Hybrid: 3 days on site (typically Tue-Thu), 2 days from home
Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for strategic asset management across the council’s commercial property portfolio, including schools, libraries, leisure centres, and offices. The role focuses on capital works rather than development/regeneration projects, requiring a collaborative approach to ensure assets are managed efficiently and strategically.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in asset management, ideally with exposure to commercial property

Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work across different council teams

Time-served professional – RICS qualification desirable but not essential

Background as a surveyor with commercial experience moving into asset management is ideal

Valuation experience would be a bonus, but not essential
