Role: Interim Service Manager
Location: South of England
Contract: 3 – 6 Months
Rate: £400 per day
Panoramic Associates have partnered up with a diverse local authority to assist them in recruiting for an Interim Service Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to deliver their expertise in a vibrant local authority.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage services for children and young people with learning disabilities and additional needs.

Implement and embed best practice frameworks including trauma-informed care, Positive Behaviour Support, and person-centred planning.

Develop and oversee robust quality assurance systems to prepare for and improve Ofsted inspection outcomes.

Drive performance improvement, casework auditing, and workforce development to ensure regulatory compliance and excellence in practice.

Engage effectively with families, carers, health professionals, schools, and wider stakeholders.
An ideal professional for this position will consist of the following traits:

Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar leadership role in children’s social care or learning disabilities.

Demonstrable success in leading Ofsted improvement journeys.

Deep understanding of legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice in learning disability and SEND provision.

Strong leadership and change management capabilities.
-
Confident communicator, collaborator, and systems thinker.
