What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the Council’s competent person for fire risk management, ensuring 100% compliance across the housing stock.
- Partnering with the Head of Compliance, providing expert advice and innovative solutions to complex fire safety challenges.
- Overseeing FRAs, inspections, audits, and emergency plans – setting the standard for best practice.
- Leading collaboration with internal teams, contractors, the London Fire Brigade, and residents to keep safety front and centre.
- Driving continuous improvement in fire safety strategy, reporting directly to senior leaders.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical knowledge of fire safety legislation & building regulations.
- IFE Level 4 Qualified
- Proven track record in fire risk assessment management within housing or public sector settings.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to influence at all levels – from contractors to committees.
- A leader who thrives on accountability, improvement, and delivering results that matter.
