SEND Tribunal Officer
Contract Length: 3 Months (likely extension)
Location: South East England (Remote Working)
Day Rate: £380 – 400 per day via umbrella company
We are seeking an experienced SEND Tribunal Officer to provide extra capacity to our County Council client.
As a SEND Tribunal Officer, you will:

Lead and manage SENDIST Tribunal cases, ensuring compliance with deadlines and Tribunal rules.

Attend and lead Way Forward, Mediation, and pre-Tribunal meetings as required.

Represent the Local Authority at SEND Tribunals when necessary.

Provide support, challenge, and training to Headteachers, SENCOs, and Governing Bodies/Academy Trusts on SEND compliance.

Collaborate with schools and partner agencies to meet the SEND Code of Practice timelines.

Maintain effective communication with statutory and voluntary sector partners, attending planning meetings and child protection case conferences.

Stay up to date on legislation, policy changes, and guidance, ensuring staff awareness of relevant updates.
Experience of confidently representing the Local Authority at Hearing and managing tribunal caseloads is essential to be considered.
