They are seeking a School Business Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is crucial for managing the financial and administrative operations of the school, contributing to its strategic growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the school’s budget and financial planning
- Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead on HR functions, including staff recruitment and training
- Provide strategic input on resource allocation and asset management
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar financial management role within an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of HR processes and best practices
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Recognised accounting or finance qualification
- Experience with school management software
- Knowledge of educational regulatory frameworks
Please note that you will be required to work on-site 4/5 days per week, however, there is some flexibility to work 1 day from home. They also provide a generous pension scheme.
