Job Title: Mediation & Complaints Officer
Contract: Until December 2025 initially
Location: Fully Remote.
Rate: £400/day via umbrella
Hours: Full-time
We are supporting a local authority in the West Midlands with their search for a Mediation & Complaints Officer.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a caseload of SEND complaints, ensuring effective interventions for children and young people aged 0-25 across all educational settings

Resolve conflicts and engage directly with all stakeholders involved in the mediation and complaints process

Ensure all mediation and complaints documentation meets statutory and local deadlines

Coordinate and represent the local authority at mediation and complaints meetings, defending service provision

Produce clear, data-informed reports with actionable recommendations to improve service delivery and enhance the team’s reputation
