Interim SENCo – East Sussex – ASAP Start – Full Time
We are currently supporting a primary school in East Sussex with the appointment of an Interim SENCo to start as soon as possible, with the assignment running until the end of the summer term.
- Pay: Negotiable, inside IR35
- Working pattern: Full time, 5 days per week
- On-site requirement: Fully site-based
- NASENCo: Preferred, although candidates working towards it will also be considered
This role would suit an experienced SENCo who can step into a busy school environment and provide strong oversight of SEND provision for the remainder of the academic year. There is no teaching commitment attached to the post, allowing the successful candidate to focus fully on SENCo responsibilities.
All EHCP annual reviews are up to date. This means you would be joining a well-managed setting where the focus can remain on maintaining high-quality provision and supporting the wider SEND function.
There is also a strong support structure in place, with the Deputy SENCo providing line management and support, alongside the Assistant Headteacher, who leads on pastoral provision and works closely with the SENCo to ensure SEMH needs across the school are fully supported.
Interviews are expected to take place next week.
If you would like to be considered, please get in touch.
