Interim Registered Manager – LD, Autism & Complex Needs

📍 East Midlands
⏳ 3-6 months | ASAP Start

We are urgently seeking an experienced Interim Registered Manager to take leadership of a specialist service supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Complex Needs. This is a hands‑on role requiring a strong leader who can drive quality, and ensure compliance.

🌟 What We’re Looking For 🌟

✔ Extensive LD, Autism & Complex Needs Expertise

  • Proven background supporting individuals with a range of learning disabilities and varying levels of need.
  • Experience managing environments where behaviours of concern may be present.
  • Skilled in developing personalised, strengths‑based support plans.

✔ Strong Service Management Experience

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or senior leadership role in specialist care settings.
  • Ability to manage staffing, rotas, budgets, and operational delivery.

✔ Confident Stakeholder Engagement

  • Comfortable working with Local Authorities, CQC, families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Able to represent the service effectively and maintain excellent external relationships.

✔ Solid Knowledge of MCA & Relevant Legislation

  • Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act, DoLS/LPS, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and safeguarding frameworks.
  • Able to ensure documentation, assessments, and decision‑making meet regulatory expectations.
