Panoramic Associates are supporting our Local Authority client with the recruitment of an Interim Director of Public Health for an initial six months.

Role:

  • Population Health Management Oversight across the system (council and ICB)
  • Oversight of the Public Health budget
  • Oversight of the Health and Wellbeing Board refresh
  • Public Health Grant Assurance Meetings
  • Professionally accountable to the employing Authority and the Chief Executive, reporting to the Corporate Director of Adults, Housing & Health.
  • Responsible for the Public Health team including, Assistant Director and Consultant in Public Health, Strategic Lead for Public Health and wider function

Requirements:

  • You must be registered as a Public Health Specialist with the General Medical Council (GMC) or the UK Public Health Register (UKPHR)
  • Have previous experience in delivering the statutory duties of the Director of Public Health
