In this role, you will oversee compliance with gas, electrical, fire, and water safety regulations, ensuring all properties meet statutory and regulatory requirements. You will monitor compliance programmes from start to finish, ensuring inspections are up to date, remedial actions are completed, and any gaps are swiftly addressed. Coordination with contractors and arranging tenant access for inspections and works will be key, requiring clear and consistent communication with both residents and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing compliance across gas, electrical, fire and water safety, ensuring all stock meets statutory and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring compliance programmes end-to-end, keeping inspections current and making sure any overdue actions or remedials are picked up and closed quickly
- Coordinating contractors and arranging tenant access for servicing, inspections and remedial works, while keeping communication clear with residents and internal teams
- Maintaining accurate, audit-ready records, including validation of Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs and Fire Risk Assessments
- Identifying compliance risks or failures early, taking proportionate action to resolve issues and protect tenant safety
- Keeping a tight grip on data, strong admin discipline, attention to detail, and clear tracking of compliance evidence is key in this role
- Carrying out site-based checks to verify compliance data, inspect completed works and ensure contractors are delivering to the required standard
