We are seeking a confident and compassionate Interim Clinical Deputy Manager to support a well‑established care home in the South East for a three‑month assignment.
About the Role
In this interim position, you’ll provide strong clinical oversight and day‑to‑day leadership, ensuring high‑quality care and regulatory compliance during a period of transition. You’ll work closely with the Home Manager and wider multidisciplinary team to maintain excellent standards and support staff across all clinical functions.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the clinical team to deliver safe, person‑centred care

Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance

Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies

Mentor, guide, and develop nursing and care staff

Contribute to a positive, collaborative culture within the home

Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external professionals
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:

A valid NMC registration (RGN)

Proven experience in a senior clinical or deputy management role within a care home

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

The ability to step in quickly, adapt, and provide stability

A proactive, supportive approach to staff and residents
