About the Role
Panoramic Associates is supporting a London Borough with their search for an experienced Assistant Director of Education to drive strategic change across their Education Directorate, with a focus on SEND and Alternative Provision.
Following their recent Ofsted inspection, the postholder will lead a critical review to align services across the directorate.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a comprehensive review of SEND and Alternative Provision, including PRUs and specialist teaching services
- Evaluate current services across the Education Directorate and provide long-term strategic recommendations
- Ensure alignment with their existing SEND Action Plan and influence future service design
- Collaborate across sectors – mainstream, specialist, and alternative – to ensure cohesive and inclusive education pathways
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to guide strategic decisions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven expertise in SEND strategy and delivery
- Experience at Assistant Director level or similar senior leadership in Education for a local authority
- Strong understanding of Alternative Provision, PRUs, and specialist teaching services
