Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client to support the appointment of an Capital Programme Manager on an interim basis for an initial 6-month contract, with a likely extension.
This role will lead the delivery of a strategic programme focused on driving economic growth, inward investment, and regeneration. The programme is at a pivotal implementation stage, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in coordinating interlinked initiatives to boost employment, business support, and community resilience.
Responsibilities of the Role:
* Lead and coordinate delivery of multiple economic development projects at varying stages
* Collaborate with external stakeholders, including LEPs, businesses, education providers, and community organisations
* Ensure alignment of programme delivery with government funding criteria and local growth strategies
* Track and evaluate economic outcomes, including job creation, business growth, and skills development
To be successful in the role, you will have:
* Proven experience delivering economic development or regeneration programmes within a public sector context
* Strong knowledge of funding streams (e.g. UKSPF, Levelling Up, Towns Fund) and economic policy
* Excellent stakeholder management skills across public, private, and voluntary sectors
* Understanding of local government governance and strategic economic planning
