About our speaker, Elaine: In 1984, Elaine qualified as a Social Worker and has worked as a Social Worker and Probation Officer, working with Children, Young People and Adults. Elaine achieved the Advanced Award in Social Work in 2010. The years spent as a front-line worker (18 years) gave her an extensive grounding in working with vulnerable adults.
About our speaker, Simon: Simon is an accomplished leader in adult social care. He has 25 years experience of working in health and social care, over eight years at director level, with responsibility for all aspects of adult social care provision and commissioning. He retains current social work registration.
