Interim ASC Workforce and Development Officer

Length: 6 Months

Location: North England

Hybrid Working: 1 day a week onsite

Daily Rate: Inside IR35 Competitive Rate.

Overview:

Are you passionate about workforce development in Adult Social Care? We’re looking for a proactive individual to lead our Workforce and Organisational Development Strategy, focusing on workforce planning, career pathways, and cultural change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver workforce and OD strategies to meet service objectives.
  • Implement workforce development initiatives for cultural change and service improvement.
  • Oversee career progression frameworks, post-qualifying study, and student placements.
  • Collaborate with staff and managers on workforce planning, succession planning, and retention.
  • Manage training budgets to support service development.
  • Provide workforce development advice and guidance.
  • Lead commissioning and management of learning and development needs.
  • Oversee onboarding and induction processes.
