Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in the Southeast of England to facilitate the appointment of a Waste Contract Monitoring Officer on an interim basis for an initial 6 months.
This role will involve overseeing and monitoring the current waste management contracts within the local authority.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Monitoring and evaluating waste management service delivery against contract specifications
- Liaising with service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and performance standards are met
- Analysing data and preparing reports on contract performance
- Implementing corrective actions and improvements as needed
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience in waste management or environmental services.
- Public sector experience desirable.
- Strong contract management and monitoring skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills
