Valuation & Estates Surveyor (Public Sector – West Midlands)
Salary: £45,091 – £48,226 * Permanent * 37 hours
Panoramic Associates is supporting a respected public sector organisation to recruit an experienced Valuation & Estates Surveyor. This is a great opportunity to join a committed Corporate Property team managing a diverse and meaningful estate portfolio.
The Role
You will deliver a full range of estates and valuation services across operational and commercial assets, managing a varied caseload that includes:
- Inspections, surveys, valuations and negotiations
- Acquisitions (including under CPO powers) and disposals
- Lease renewals, rent reviews, licences, premiums and service charges
- Easements, wayleaves and general estates management (dilapidations, lease variations, covenant issues)
- Insurance reinstatement valuations and claim support
- Non-domestic rating assessments and appeals
- Asset register updates and project management of development/refurb schemes
- Preparing reports, committee papers and expert evidence
- Attending internal meetings, tribunals or court when required
About You
We’re looking for a proactive, professional surveyor with:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a complex workload independently
- Good knowledge of property law, landlord/tenant matters and valuation practice
- RICS qualification (GP) or equivalent full exemption
- Confident use of IT systems and property software
