My client is looking for experienced transformation/change project and programme managers!

  • Salary: Dependent on experience
  • Location: Yorkshire area (open to remote/hybrid candidates)
  • Both permanent and contractors
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience and/or in-depth knowledge of how UK council/local authorities operate. Please note, candidates without this knowledge will not be considered due to the nature of the roles.

Have you got a track record of supporting/delivering complex transformation programmes? Do you have a good amount of experience working across different departments, with internal/external stakeholders? Do you have a good knowledge of local government and a passion to deliver the best service outcomes for the community?

My local authority client has an ambitious vision, with a varied and exciting portfolio of work, they are looking for motivated Transformation Programme Managers, and Project Managers to lead and support the delivery of multiple workstreams and programmes in the transformation team.

The postholder will have a proven track record of great internal and external stakeholder management, a clear understanding of how local authorities/councils operate, including with public funding, and hold a positive and supportive disposition. You will need to be resilient, approachable and be able to work at pace in a fast changing environment.

About You:

Proven experience/in-depth knowledge in transformation and change within a local authority - unfortunately, applications without this will not be considered.
PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, PROSCI or equivalent.
Friendly, positive and collaborative approach to work.
