Job Title: Traffic Signals Team Manager
Location: North East England
Contract Duration: 6 Months
About Us:
Panoramic Associates is partnering with a Local Authority client in the North East of England to appoint a skilled Traffic Signals Team Manager for a period of 6 Months.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the implementation, management and delivery of traffic schemes ensuring effective operational management.
- Manage the continuous improvement of the service ensuring delivery of service objectives.
- Contribute to achieving financial objectives by leading the innovation of service delivery methods and improvements through engagement with councillors, residents, staff, trade unions and service users.
- Manage the staff, budget and activities of the team in order to meet both service and financial objectives.
Requirements:
- Expertise in traffic signals design and operations, including advanced control strategies (MOVA, UTC, cableless linking, and SCOOT), project management, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in current traffic modeling techniques, Regulations and Codes of Practice related to Traffic Signals and UTMC, as well as Construction, Design, and Management and Health and Safety legislation regulations.
- Strong track record of delivering quality standards, performance management, continuous improvement, innovation, and reviewing business processes. Capable of preparing project management information and technical reports.
- Effective communication and partnership working, with the drive to support service delivery.
- Developed knowledge of procurement and contract management.
